Mark Goodman
Mark Goodman founded Terawatt Ventures in 2009 to capitalize on the value creation potential of energy-related technology innovation. He brings a broad range of financial, operating, and venture capital investment experience to his evaluation of investment opportunities and to his partnership with portfolio company management teams. Mark is a board observer at mc10 and his most recent investment is Qnovo.
Mark has been a venture capital investor since 2004 when he co-founded Brookline Venture Partners to manage the venture capital investments for a Boston family office. His investments included NitroSecurity, Consumer United and Volicon, where he currently serves on the board of directors. Mark began his career at First Chicago (now part of Chase), where he gained broad experience in corporate finance, capital markets and credit analysis.
Mark taught philosophy and inter-disciplinary liberal arts courses at Boston College while a doctoral candidate and later as a Lecturer after completing his doctorate.
Mark holds a BA in Economics and Philosophy from Emory University, an MBA from the Kellogg Graduate School of Management, and an MA and PhD in Philosophy from Boston College.
Mark was appointed by President Obama to the U.S. Holocaust Memorial Council in 2010. He lives in Cambridge with his wife and three children.
